Apparently other landmarks on campus aside from the Sparty statue need to be guarded during rivalry week. The Magic Johnson statue located outside the Jack Breslin Student Events Center was vandalized last night. A yellow ‘M’ was painted on the chest, and “Beat State” written on the base of the statue. Infrastructure Planning and Facilities cleaned the paint off the statue around 10:45 a.m, according to Tweets.
