But when significant others are thrown into the loop in the already cramped dorm rooms, how does it affect the dynamic between the roommates?

Bradley Cooper went to study with his boyfriend, Ryon Baldwin-Williams, at the main library of MSU's campus on April 15. Neither of them could have anticipated that both of them would end up injured and spend nine hours in the emergency room the same night.

MSU students find community, empowerment in women's organizations on campus

The first ten female students started at Michigan State University, named the State Agricultural College at the time, in 1870. Now, women make up 51.4% of the total undergraduate enrollment. Seven suspects identified in hate crime, aggravated assault at MSU Library

A group of five suspects aggravatedly assaulted two victims based on sexual orientation bias at the Michigan State University Main Library, according to the police and public safety timely warning email sent out to MSU students and faculty April 15. The hate crime occurred at the Michigan State University Library at 5:45 p.m. and was reported to MSU police at 5:50 p.m.

MSU students protest for support of transgender students following anti-trans rights demonstration

Students peacefully protested outside the Hannah Administration Building today to advocate for MSU to adhere to diversity, equity and inclusion standards in support of transgender and gender non-conforming students. The protest was a response to a demonstration held in Brody Hall on April 4 that students deemed transphobic.

Activists continue protests following MSU's decision not to divest

President Kevin Guskiewicz told reporters after the meeting that the university is “doing everything to protect the endowment and our financial investments from any political influence.” Jesse Estrada White, a comparative culture and politics junior and organizer with Sunrise MSU, said that not divesting is a political choice of its own.

Department of Natural Resources stocks Red Cedar River with over 3,000 trout

As a part of its spring-long process of stocking rivers and lakes, employees from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources released 3,300 steelhead trout into the Red Cedar River. After molting in the river for a short period of time, the trout will swim downstream toward Lake Michigan to join the local ecosystem.

Union of Tenure Stream Faculty still awaiting voluntary recognition from MSU, says university is stalling process

At Friday’s board meeting, several public commenters called on the university to voluntarily recognize the Union of Tenure Stream Faculty. They argued the university is stalling in providing a list of all faculty members it considers part of the bargaining unit, which is needed to move forward with negotiations.
