The IM facilities on campus are aging, our student body sees this. From outdated workout equipment to crumbling aquatic centers, the students of MSU are calling for updates. Many on campus utilize the IM centers and feel it’s a great way to stay active amidst the fervor of college life.

About two years ago, a couple of women wanted to find a way to anonymously compliment someone they saw on campus. Since its creation in March of 2013, the MSU Crushes Twitter page has become an avenue to thank people for doing nice deeds on campus or proposing to athletes.

Students discuss the pros and cons of living in East Lansing

Spartans are just starting to get used to their new living spaces whether it be an apartment, house, co-op or even off-campus, and it’s nearly time to start thinking about next year’s living choices. Apartments fill up fast in East Lansing — students are expected to finalize housing as early as Octoberch in order to preserve a place to live for next year. Waiting until the last minute can limit options and make students more likely to choose quickly without considering the ramifications of exactly what they signed up for. Location There are a variety of options available to students looking for a new place in East Lansing, from the center of the night life on Grand River Avenuech to the calm solitude of living a few minutes from campus.

5 Takeaways from MSU's 37-24 win over Western Michigan.  1. Offensive line play The talent level of the offensive line was a storyline all summer long and it was on full display on Friday night.  The unit kept senior quarterback Connor Cook on his feet all night long—not allowing a single sack in over 28 minutes of possession time. "They did great, they were picking up blitzes," Cook said of his offensive line.
