MSU men's soccer defeats U-M at home, 1-0

In the Battle for the Big Bear Trophy, MSU edged Michigan 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at DeMartin Stadium. The game was evenly challenged throughout, with the two teams nearly identical in their attacking position and efforts at goal, but MSU exuded the necessary composure both offensively and defensively in the definitive moments.

HALFTIME: No. 12 MSU currently leads No. 18 Notre Dame 15-7

Fifty years after the Game of the Century and three years after their last matchup, No. 12 MSU and No. 18 Notre Dame started timidly before showing flashes which ultimately resulted in a 15-7 lead for MSU at halftime.  After forcing Notre Dame to punt on its first drive, MSU couldn't hold stout against the hurry-up offense of the Irish.

Students attend CreativeCollaboration to connect with others

When neuroscience freshman Keilyn Broussard woke up on Sept. 10, she had some expectations for the day, she said. Those expectations were that she would be exposed to art, have the chance to get food and that she would have the chance to make friends, she said. Her plan for meeting all of these expectations was to go to the third annual CreativeCollaboration at the Wharton Center, held from noon to 4 p.m.

Tickets for journalist and conservative speaker Milo Yiannopoulos’ Dec 7 appearance at MSU are now available on Eventbrite.com. Yiannopoulos, currently tech editor at Breitbart News, has become a controversial figure among many for his views on feminism, free speech and campus culture.
