“My overall experience with Title IX was complete hell. It was a complete nightmare,” Chrissy Weathersby Ball said. She said her investigation and hearing combined lasted over 400 days, and that the OIE office gave Wakeham numerous extensions, which delayed the investigation.

2 people plead guilty to making fraudulent claims to the Healing Fund

Two parents of a former MSU women's basketball player pleaded guilty June 8 to one count of using false pretenses to obtain over $20,000 from Michigan State's Healing Assistance Fund, which was created to cover the medical expenses for the survivors of ex-MSU doctor Larry Nassar. Four other people received false pretenses charges.

Letter FROM the (new) editor: I can't wait to be back

Being back in an in-person environment this fall is giving me endless hope for the success of this next year. While it was nice just rolling over and grabbing my laptop on snowy days, I can't wait for the minor slips and falls December can bring just feel like a student again.
