MSU men's tennis Max Sheldon and Ozan Baris ranked No. 1 in doubles by ITA

Max Sheldon and Ozan Baris, two Michigan State tennis players who act as a dynamic duo on the tennis court, have received an honor from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, or ITA, as being ranked as the number one doubles pair in the country. This achievement marks the first time any Spartan, either as a singles player or in a doubles team, has ever been ranked No. 1 in the country in the ITA rankings, the largest ranking organization in collegiate tennis.

The Michigan State women's basketball team has been climbing up the Big Ten standings through its four-game win streak. After having a rejuvenating 76-65 rematch win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers last Monday, the Spartans will continue in their gauntlet run on Thursday in hopes of making it five consecutive wins.

Former Spartan volleyball middle blocker Amani McArthur signed with the Vegas Thrill, a team in the Pro Volleyball Federation, and will be a part of the 2024 season. McArthur was named to the Vegas Thrill's practice squad on Monday after a rigorous series of practice and cuts.

Free throw struggles weigh MSU men's basketball down in 59-56 loss at Minnesota

Michigan State shot 7-for-17 on foul shots and missed five down the stretch in its 59-56 loss to the Golden Gophers, an avoidable slip in what could’ve been the team's 11th win in 14 games. The defeat moved the Spartans back to .500 in conference play ahead of their most crucial span of the season.

Students United for Palestinian Rights, or SUPR, Arab Cultural Society, or ACS, and Planned Parenthood Generation Action, or PPGA, have partnered to hold a Menstrual Product Drive for Gaza until Feb. 6 in room 206 at the Michigan State University International Center. The drive is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
