Those who worked East Lansing's November city council election explain why it is so important to give back to the community through voting.
"The Red Cedar River is of particular interest just due to the close proximity (to) where Brendan was last seen,” MSUPD inspector Chris Rozman said. “That particular search effort is requiring additional resources from MSP’s Marine Services Divison.”
"We do not have the exact circumstances of how the two were shot," ELPD Deputy Chief Steve Gonzalez said. "We do not have anybody in custody and we are not currently looking for any suspects."
Hospital administration proposed a new contract for the caregivers late last Friday, the last day of contract negotiations between them and the union. Many of the picketing workers cited high turnover rates, exhaustion from long hours and low pay.
The seven bills are proposed in response to mainly Republican-backed election reform bills that many Democrats say could be harmful to the democratic process.

Michigan State Police's Marine Services has joined the search for missing 18-year-old Brendan Santo. MSUPD inspector Chris Rozman said there have been no indications of foul play regarding his disappearance.

“After the last couple years where, you know, people have been down and inside, it kind of just felt good to be outside and see the community vibrant, and just having fun, and just having a good time in their costumes,” magician Cameron Zvara said. “Just interacting together, it just felt good to feel like a community again.”
On Oct. 30, the East Lansing Police Department had a total of 349 calls for service. There were 20 citations issued and five arrests made.
Two separate shooting incidents occurred in East Lansing over Halloween weekend.
