MSU Dairy Store opens doors for move-in weekend

With move-in came some confusion regarding dorm room placements, with claims that some students who signed up for single rooms were placed in doubles.
“We have 15,000 students coming to campus,” MSU President Samuel L. Stanley Jr. said. “Each and every one deserves the best attention and I think all my team is working to do that. I think from talking to people today, there’s great joy and excitement.”
Michigan State University has prepared several activities to welcome Spartans back to campus.
Students wishing to fill out an exemption form and return to campus without the COVID-19 vaccine have until Aug. 31 to complete the form. Students filing for exemption are still required to fill out the vaccine verification form and indicate they are pursuing an exemption.
This past weekend, the MSU Dairy Store welcomed back the public. Although the MSU Dairy Store is on MSU’s campus, a wide range of people from all across the state came to enjoy the treats that they have to offer.
All staff, students and faculty are required to fill out the form.

With the announcement of a recreational facility fee being added to student tuition, Michigan State is now allowing all students to work out at the IM facilities. Previously, students had to buy a membership to access the fitness centers within the facilities.
The donations are a 25% increase from the previous year's donation amount.
