MSU offers a number of unique study abroad opportunities

From the banks of the Red Cedar to holding a passport getting ready to travel across the world, MSU’s commitment to international education is evident through its’ study abroad program, a program that is consistently ranked as one of the three largest study abroad programs in the country.  MSU currently offers over 385 study abroad programs in more than 65 different countries on all seven continents of the world.

MSU's annual Global Festival showcases cultures of the world

Student cultural clubs from all over campus and the Lansing community gathered at the MSU Union for MSU's  2015 Community Volunteers for International Programs’ Global Festival. The festival featured live performances and demonstrations by over twenty different groups with members from Thailand, Africa, Iran and many more. The event also featured street food, a gift shop selling cultural goods and booths where MSU clubs shared their culture with students and the community. “It’s really imperative that we have things like this because it’s a great place for domestic students to learn about all the different cultures on campus” comparative cultures & politics junior and community outreach and programming intern for MSU’s Office for International Students and Scholars Sohela Suri said.
