The Clinton-Kaine campaign kicked off a new push to register young voters on MSU's campus. In an event held at the James Madison College Library at MSU, campaign staff, supporters and Rep. Jeremy Moss (R-Southfield) gathered to discuss the importance of involving young people in government.

The number of women enrolled in MSU’s College of Engineering reach 21 percent this year, up from 18 percent last year. Finding friends can be a struggle for new students at a university as large as MSU, but an app developed by professional writing senior Zoe Zappitell has come along to help with that problem. Zappitell, president of the Women in Entrepreneurship student group, wanted to develop an app that would help students connect with each other, so she created the event-based app Conecter that helps students find people on campus who share their interests.

An MSU professor and team physician for women's gymnastics, women's crew and a former USA Gymnastics team physician has been accused on two separate counts of sexual abuse. Dr. Larry G. Nassar, who volunteered for USA Gymnastics for 29 years, teaches sports medicine in the College of Osteopathic Medicine.
