It’s a long drive to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, but Katie Nelson thinks it’s worth it. Nelson, a medical technology senior, will make the four and a half to five hour drive to Newberry, Mich., this Wednesday for the Thanksgiving holiday. “It’s a big holiday for us,” Nelson said.
