After last week's windstorm, campus and city make repairs, clean up
Last Wednesday’s windstorm left hundreds of thousands across Michigan without power for several days. The storm did nothing to spare MSU’s campus and resulted in a temporary power loss in 10 university buildings and a fallen tree on the College of Music building.

Noodles and Co. relocating to old Conrad's Grill spot
Noodles & Company East Lansing will be relocating to the corner building of 101 E Grand River Ave., the company announced March 9 via press release. The local branch of the restaurant chain will be moving into the old Conrad’s Grill space over the course of Summer 2017 to make room for the planned Center City District project according to the release, which if built would entail the demolition of N&C’s current location among other local businesses. “I think we’re excited for a new location and to start kind of a new chapter in our story,” Noodles & Company East Lansing Director of Marketing Mike Endres said.

Follow-up reports submitted regarding football investigation
Follow-up reports have been submitted from MSUPD regarding the continued investigation of reported sexual assaults on MSU's campus, according to a press release from Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.

MSU police reported a total of 42 crimes from March 3 to March 12, according to the Clery Crime and Fire Log. During spring break 2016, MSUPD reported 61 crimes.

"We’ve become friends, we dog-watch each other’s dog, socialize, she’s a good person... She’s very socially conscious and aware, and she’s trying to do the good thing and the right thing all the time.” Mayor Mark Meadows has only worked with Woods for the two years he's currently served as mayor, but has known Woods since his first stint on council in 1995. "I’ve known Susan for many years, and she in fact when I was first elected, (former Mayor and current Rep) Sam Singh and myself had the idea that we should have a film festival here, and we worked on that for awhile but it really didn’t take off until Susan moved to town,” Meadows said.
