Saturday 7/25

Trespassing and obstructing justice were reported to have occurred around 9:30 a.m. on July 23 at the MSU Union. According to the Clery log, a warrant was issued and MSU DPPS reported that this case was referred to the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office.

Sunday 7/26

A traffic stop involving someone operating without a license with them occurred around 10 a.m. near Hagadorn Road and Grand River Avenue. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in a citation.

A traffic stop involving someone operating a motorcycle with an expired registration, no license with them, no insurance, and no motorcycle endorsement occurred around 9:20 p.m. on Mount Hope Road and Farm Lane. MSU DPPS reported that the traffic stop was originally conducted due to the subject speeding. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in a citation.

Monday 7/27

A simple assault was reported that occurred around midnight on July 20 near 3965 North College Road. MSU DPPS reported that the subjects involved had a pre-existing relationship.

A traffic stop involving someone driving with an invalid registration, no proof of insurance and an expired driver's license occurred around 8 a.m. near Michigan Avenue and Harrison Road. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in an arrest.

A traffic stop involving someone driving with a suspended license occurred around 11 p.m. near Farm Lane and Trowbridge Road. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in an arrest.

A traffic stop involving someone driving with a revoked driver’s license, expired registration and no insurance occurred around 11 p.m. near Michigan Avenue and Francis Avenue. According to the Clery log, this incident resulted in a citation.

An MSU ordinance violation involving someone operating a drone on campus occurred around 1:30 p.m. near the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

Friday 7/31

A traffic stop involving someone driving with no proof of insurance occurred around 1 a.m. near South Homer Street and Kalamazoo Street.

Wire fraud occurred around midnight. near 1855 Place Building 1804. MSU DPPS reported that this incident involved a scam using the app Zelle.

Larceny occurred around 1:20 p.m. at the Biomedical and Physical Sciences Building. MSU DPPS reported that this incident involved a reportedly stolen laptop and digital camera.
