In its first NCAA Championships appearance since 1988, the No. 8-ranked Michigan State University gymnastics finished fourth in the national semifinals with a score of 197.3625.

Facing powerhouses Utah, UCLA, and reigning champ LSU, MSU led midway and finished with four individual podiums.

Senior Gabrielle Stephen clinched bronze on bars with a 9.9375, while freshman Amy Doyle earned fourth place with a career-high 9.9125. Junior Sage Kellerman secured co-runner-up honors on vault with a 9.950, and fellow senior Skyla Schulte finished fifth on floor, scoring 9.9375 in her final routine.

Those standout routines translated into a record-setting five Spartans earning NCAA All-America honors — the most in program history.

Schulte led the charge, earning First Team honors on floor and cementing herself as the only Spartan to earn All-America recognition in three consecutive NCAA Championship appearances. Stephen made history on bars, becoming the first Spartan to earn First Team All-American honors in the event.

On vault, Kellerman claimed her second career All-America nod with a First Team finish, while freshman phenom Doyle joined her with a breakout fourth-place performance — making her the first MSU freshman to achieve First Team honors on vault.

Rounding out the group was junior Olivia Zsarmani, who picked up Second Team All-American honors on both vault and bars, placing her among the few Spartans ever to earn multiple NCAA accolades.

With a fourth-place finish at the NCAA Championships and a program-record five All-America honors, Michigan State capped off a historic season in Fort Worth. Backed by veteran leaders and emerging talent, the Spartans proved they belong among the nation’s top programs — and their trajectory continues to rise.
