Scott is currently ranked No. 52 in the 2025 class and the No. 11 small forward by 247Sports.
Scott will be a needed addition to a Spartan team that's recently lacked size on the wing. Versatile on both ends of the floor, Scott can be seen as a shooting guard in a small forward's frame with upside in perimeter shooting and solid defensive play at guard.
Prior to his commitment, Scott told 247Sports that he's a "perfect fit" at Michigan State.
"Tom Izzo basketball is the style I like to play," Scott said.
MSU beat out Maryland and Virginia Tech in the battle for Scott after losing out on top 20 recruits Jalen Haralson and Darius Adams in the last two weeks.
The Spartans still have a number of recruits to keep an eye on in the class of 2025, with top 50 prospects Dwayne Aristode, Cam Ward and Niko Bundalo all placing MSU in their respective final commitment options.
