One critically injured victim from Monday night's mass shooting on Michigan State University's campus has been upgraded to stable condition, Board of Trustees Chair Rema Vassar said in a Thursday morning press conference.

Vassar said a representative from Sparrow Hospital had informed university officials Thursday morning of the progress. The student's name was not given.

"I just want to continue to pray for those families," Vassar said.

Four students remain in critical condition.
