The East Lansing Police Department is currently investigating an alleged assault that took place at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house. The event allegedly occurred on the night of Aug. 30 at a fraternity function.

“Our detective bureau is currently working the case,” Deputy Chief Steve Gonzalez said. “They do have some leads on accused individuals, so they will follow up on those leads and hopefully be able to come to a good resolution.”

Sigma Alpha Epsilon member Landon Counsman denied a request for comment.
