Michigan State student Laura Osaer died in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 on Monday. The other vehicle was traveling the wrong way, according to a press release from the Grand Blanc Township Police Department.

Grand Blanc Township Police received a report of a wrong-way driver that night. While officers were en route, the wrong-way driver struck Osaer's vehicle. Both individuals died on impact, according to the police report.

Osaer graduated at the top of her class at Dakota High School, where she dual enrolled at Macomb Community College. She then attended MSU, where she graduated in three years. She remained at MSU to continue her studies at the College of Osteopathic Medicine, according to her obituary.
