Michigan State has landed a quarterback in its 2020 recruiting class.

Three-star quarterback Noah Kim of Westfield High School in Chantilly, Virginia committed to Michigan State on October 30.

The 6-foot-2-inch, 180 pound Kim originally committed to Virginia Tech in May before he decommitted last week and announced his offer from Michigan State.

Kim is ranked as the No. 52 pro-style quarterback and No. 28 overall player on the 247Sports composite. He chose Michigan State over other offers from Western Michigan, Howard and Fordham.

Kim took an official visit to Michigan State last weekend for the Penn State game. He announced his commitment through a twitter post.

Michigan State's 2020 recruiting class now consists of 16 commits. The class ranks 45th nationally and 11th in the Big Ten according to 247Sports team composite rankings.

Kim will join a quarterback room next season that will be looking for a new starter with the departure of Brian Lewerke. Current sophomore Rocky Lombardi, redshirt freshman Theo Day and Payton Thorne, who are all part of Michigan State's 2019 class, will likely compete for the position.
