Emergency officials responded to a moped crash on West Circle Drive near the MSU Union Tuesday, Oct. 15 around 4:30 p.m.

A girl crossing the street on her bike collided with another girl on her moped, Alaina Cook, MSU communications sophomore, said.

"The one on the moped ended up with the moped on top of her," Cook said. "Both of them started bleeding from their heads — from what we could see. They had gauze and towels."

Two ambulances responded and police monitored traffic, closing off a section of the street for a short period of time.

"Everyone in this whole area just turned (when it happened)," MSU psychology junior Calle Shannon said.
