Four-star class of 2020 guard and Mount Morris, Michigan native, Jalen Terry has decommitted from Michigan State, according to 247Sports.com

Terry, the No. 10 guard in 247Sports Composite Rankings, committed on April 2, 2019, after receiving interest from several other D1 programs, such as Missouri and Iowa State.

He was set to come in with a strong 2020 class alongside four-star forward Mady Sissoko and four-star guard AJ Hoggard.

The decommitment comes relatively close to the commitment of Michigan State’s other class of 2020 guard, Hoggard. On Oct. 6, Hoggard announced he was “100000% committed” to Michigan State via a video on his Instagram.

Just over a week later, Terry announced his decommitment from the Spartans.

Terry remains in the Top 60 of his class, and after averaging over 17 points and five assists in Nike’s EYBL circuit, he could see an increase in interest from other big name schools.
