Dakmak says Strampel was not in charge of the Title IX investigation, and that the protocols he sent to Nassar were obvious- things like telling Nassar to get consent, wear gloves, have a chaperone in the room, etc. "It was not my client's responsibility to follow up."

Several photos have been produced, many from the recycle bin of Strampel's computer. Laity says these photos have to have been saved and then deleted in order to be in the recycling bin. They could not simply have been sent to him and deleted before interaction.
