Michigan State alumni Tyler Oakley and Korey Kuhl will compete on The Amazing Race Season 31, premiering April 17. The show airs at 9 p.m. on CBS.

Oakley — an author and influential YouTuber with almost eight million subscribers — graduated from MSU in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in communication. He was also the 2017 Homecoming Grand Marshall. Kuhl, who graduated from MSU in 2008 with bachelor's degree in English, is also a Youtuber. Oakley and Kuhl co-host the podcast "Psychobabble" together as well.

The pair previously competed in Season 28 of The Amazing Race, where they made it to the finale and came in third place. Now, Kuhl said they're ready for Season 31.

“I think our first thought was, we were such fans of the show that we wanted to see if it was something we could do, see if it was a competition that we could handle, and prove to ourselves, to see how athletic we can be and how physical we can be and how far we can be with the different challenges,” Kuhl said.

Kuhl said they had great experiences the first time they competed on the show, and are expecting a lot more in the new season. Kuhl also said taking part in this competition is a good way to build up life experiences.

The premier airs at 9 p.m. on April 17.
