In the case of the Akers Hall burglary, MSUPD Capt. Doug Monette said a subject reported leaving for class and believed they left their door unlocked. When they returned, a pair of shoes with an estimated value of $400 were gone.

"The incident was investigated by the MSU Police," Monette said. "They have exhausted all leads and currently this case is closed. This case will be reopened if new information becomes available."
