An unknown burglary suspect entered a resident's room in Wilson Hall and committed an assault in the evening of March 15, according to the Michigan State University Police Department.
At 6:14 p.m., a 5-foot-1 suspect — a black female of thin build with straight shoulder-length hair — entered the room. No weapons were used, but the victim sustained minor injuries.
Wilson Hall has had several recent reports of burglary, including six over spring break. In all the incidents over spring break, victims left their doors unlocked or suitemates left their doors unlocked.
After break, another incident of burglary occurred. The door was left unlocked and property was taken the night of March 13.
