Baseball home opener against Central Michigan postponed

Michigan State baseball's home-opening game against Central Michigan will be postponed due to forecasted inclement weather in East Lansing. The match against against the Chippewas — originally set to be played Wednesday — is now awaiting a makeup date.

The Spartans head to Nebraska from March 22-24 for a Big Ten three-game weekend series. Games will be played at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, at 3:05 p.m. on Saturday and at 2:05 p.m. on Sunday. To follow along with the action, fans can turn to live stats, listen live and watch live links on the Spartan website to follow the three-game series.

The Spartans next host Western Michigan at 4:05 p.m. on March 27 at McLane Stadium. Additional updates to MSU baseball's schedule can be found at www.MSUSpartans.com.
