Michigan State point guard Cassius Winston earned Big Ten player of the week honors for the third time this season Monday, according to a release from the conference.
Winston scored a career-best 29 points in the Spartans' 70-64 win over Nebraska on Thursday. He also became MSU's 51st player to surpass the 1,000-point total in his performance.
