The Michigan State men's basketball team stood pat at No. 11 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll released early Monday afternoon after going 2-0 last week. The Spartans' two wins came from topping Louisiana Monroe 80-59 last Wednesday and dominating Tennessee Tech 101-33 to close out the weekend.
In-state rival University of Michigan jumped MSU in the rankings, moving up nine spots to No. 9 after beating then-No. 8 Villanova by 27 points last week. As for other Big Ten teams, No. 20 Iowa, No. 23 Ohio State and No. 25 Wisconsin found themselves in the rankings for the first time this season, while No. 24 Purdue dropped one spot. Other Big Ten teams receiving votes were Nebraska (98), Indiana (74) and Maryland (56).

The Spartans will now prepare for their Thanksgiving Day matchup against UCLA at the 2018 Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational. Tipoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. EST at Orleans Arena.
