After defeating Maryland 24-3 on Saturday afternoon, Michigan State football finds themselves back in the rankings, coming in at No. 24 in the Week 11 AP Poll after being unranked in back-to-back weeks.

The Spartans (6-3, 4-2 Big Ten) remain outside of the USA Today Amway Coach's Poll. However, they did receive 144 votes.

Three other Big Ten teams claimed spots in the rankings as the University of Michigan worked its way into the top four, with a lopsided victory against the now No. 21 Penn State. Ohio State moved up to No. 8 after edging the Nebraska. Iowa's to 38-36 loss to Purdue  knocked them out of the Top-25 after ranking No. 19 heading into Week 10.
