Michigan State remains unranked in the newest AP Poll released Sunday afternoon, after beating Purdue 23-13 Saturday at Spartan Stadium. MSU did garner 51 votes despite not cracking the top 25.

The Spartans (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten) do not appear in the USA Amway Coaches Poll following the victory, but did receive 48 votes.

The Big Ten claims only four spots in the rankings after occupying five last week, as Wisconsin’s loss to Northwestern knocked them out of the AP Poll. Ohio State reappeared in the top 10, jumping three spots to No. 8. Michigan remains ranked at No. 5, while Penn State’s victory over Iowa propelled them to No. 14 from No.17, pushing Iowa down one spot to No. 19.
