The East Lansing Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for a 30-year-old Mississippi man who is allegedly tied to the fatal shooting of 22-year-old MSU student Isai Berrones.
The fatal shooting of the Alamo, Texas native was Oct. 12 at the 2,500 block of Chandler Road.
ELPD is working with the state and federal officials to receive the suspect into custody. His identity will be released after his arraignment.
