City Clerk's office open Nov. 3 for absentee voting

The East Lansing City Clerk’s office will be open Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to issue and receive absentee ballots before the midterm elections.

The last day to receive an absentee ballot through the mail is Nov. 3, while the last day to apply for one and receive it in-person is Nov. 5.

All absentee ballots must be brought in to the City Clerk's office by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 6. There is a 24/7 drop off box for absentee ballots and applications located outside of the East Lansing City Hall, 410 Abbot Road.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the Nov. 6 elections.
