—Project LETS at MSU and Spartan Support Network are hosting a Suicide Prevention Memorial at the MSU Union on Thursday, Sept. 27 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The memorial is meant to be a safe space to share stories about loved ones, for attempt survivors and for those with thoughts of suicide, according to the event's Facebook description.
Project LETS is a national organization which is “led by and for folks with lived experience of mental illness, disability, trauma and neurodivergence,” according to the organization’s website.
The group focuses on peer support and peer-led communities.
Spartan Support Network and Project LETS are teaming up to create the Suicide Prevention Memorial at the Union for National Suicide Prevention Awareness month.
