After a successful first year in 2017, the Prime Musical Festival is back September 14 to 15 with a lineup of artists.

The two-day music festival, held in Adado Riverfront Park in Lansing, features the sounds of hip hop and dance music artists from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.

Headliners include hip hop recording artist Tyga, Diplo, DJ and founder of record label Mad Decent and rapper Russ. The lineup also features 3LAU, Big Wild, Lil Skies, Lost Kings and more.

11-year-old Michigan native DJ Dill Pickle also takes the stage on Friday.

Last year, the Prime Music Festival brought in over 20,000 people and many of the 2017 attendees said they would be back in 2018.

If students have not yet purchased tickets, two-day and single-day tickets are still available through Prime Music Festival’s website.

The tour is presented by Prime Social Group, a festival and concert promotion company whose focus demographic is college students. They follow the kinds of music and artists listened to by people ages 18 to 30 and then organize shows in major college towns around the United States.
