After passing up on millions over a year ago to return to Michigan State for his sophomore season, Charlotte Hornets rookie Miles Bridges has seen his professional career take another uptick. The former MSU star forward reportedly has signed a four-year contract with Nike.

The former second-team All-American has capitalized on the marquee brand endorsement after having an impressive summer league campaign. Bridges averaged 15 points and just over eight rebounds per game playing for the Hornets summer league squad.

Bridges now joins the likes of Draymond Green as a former Spartan with a secured Nike contract. The No. 12 overall pick is one of the more notable names under Nike’s rights in a relatively stacked rookie class, as names like Phoenix Suns rookie DeAndre Ayton and Sacramento Kings rookie Marvin Bagley committed to deals with Puma back in June.
