Former MSU guard Bryn Forbes has agreed to a two-year deal to re-sign with the San Antonio Spurs, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports.

This new deal for Forbes looks to place him sharing time as a three-and-D wing with Danny Green, Manu Ginobli and Marco Belinelli.

The Spurs also currently have Kawhi Leonard rostered at the position. However, trade rumors have swirled over Leonard all summer.

Forbes averaged 6.9 points per game last year for the Spurs, over 19 minutes of play time per game, according to Sports Reference. Forbes shot 39 percent from three-point range last year on 2.9 attempts per game. He played in 80 games for the Spurs, starting in 12 of those.

Forbes spent two of his four years playing NCAA basketball at MSU, after spending his first two at Cleveland State. In his time at MSU, Forbes averaged 11.3 points per game, shooting a 45.8 percent clip from three. Forbes was not drafted out of college, but was able to get onto the Spurs roster, where he will likely remain for another two years of his contract.

Information regarding financial details of the deal have not been released yet.
