Stumbling the streets of East Lansing this weekend? St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner and it is a wonderful reason for Spartan's to break out the colors green and white. East Lansing's local hot spots will be sharing their lucky deals this week through St. Patrick’s Day. The State News has compiled a list of discounts for the occasion.
This list will be updated until St. Patrick’s Day, March 17.
Rick's American Cafe
Rick's American Cafe will open their doors at 7 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day morning. 7 a.m. through noon will be half off drinks. Noon through 3 p.m. is free pizza. 3 p.m. through 6 p.m. will be $5 green beer pitchers. There will be a cover at the door.
Lou and Harry’s Bar/Grill
Lou and Harry’s Bar and Grill will open its doors at 7 a.m. There will be free breakfast from 7 a.m. to noon. In addition, there will be $6 green pitchers, $5 car bombs, $4 green beer pints, $3 aluminum Bud Light Pints, $2 and $3 shots and Guinness ice cream floats. There is a $5 cover at the door.
The Riv
The Riv, home of the notorious “Rama” will be holding it’s “Tacorama” or “St. Practice Day” this Friday instead of the usual Saturday. Rama features $4.25 pitchers. On Saturday, St. Patrick's Day, there will be $6 Guinness pints, $5 Jameson shots, $6 car bombs, a $4 shot special and $5 aluminum Bud Lights. Doors will open at 7 a.m. on Saturday. There is a $5 cover at the door.
Crunchy’s
Crunchy’s will open at 8 a.m. for St. Patrick's Day and will have green beer specials, including $2.50 mugs and $25 buckets. Jameson shots will be $4.50 and car bombs are $5. Crunchy's sold out of St. Patrick's Day tickets for the early opening from 8 a.m.-10 a.m., however, Crunchy's will be open to the public after 10 a.m.
Harper’s Restaurant and Brewpub
Harper’s Restaurant and Brewpub will feature $1 green beer and $1 Jell-O shots. Doors open at 7 a.m. on St. Patrick's Day and there is a $5 cover at the door.
P.T O'Malley's
P.T O'Malley's opens at 7 a.m St. Patrick's Day. There will be a free T-shirt giveaway, along with free breakfast. Green beer pitchers are $11 and car bombs are $5.50. There is a $5 cover at the door.
Big Ten Party Store East
Big Ten Party Store East is opening at 7 a.m on Saturday. Keystone kegs, green and normal colored, will be $49.99. Guinness 15 ounce four packs will be $7.99. All orders over $50.00 include free delivery.
Big Ten recently lowered its liquor prices to the state minimum.
On March 14, Big Ten will host an Irish whiskey and cream tasting from 7- 9 p.m.
HopCat
HopCat has a St. Patrick’s Day special running from March 9-18. It includes $5 off all reuben sandwiches. Two new holiday cocktails will be served during the same period, Leprechaun Coffee for $8 and the Lucky Irishmen for $6.50. There is no cover at the door.

Dublin Square will be opening their doors at 7 a.m. St. Patrick's Day morning with breakfast offered with a charge while supplies last. Bud Light aluminum pints will be $4. There will be a $5 to $10 cover at the door.
