Buying legal marijuana inside East Lansing city limits is closer to a reality than before.
Firewater Apparel Co., founded by MSU alumnus Austin Pabian, is hosting an event in coordination with #MeTooMSU to support survivors of abuse from ex-MSU and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. The event will be held at The Rock off Farm Lane from 10a.m. to 2p.m. on April 27.
Infractions against the liquor establishments include allegedly over-serving a patron, allowing minors into the bar with a fake ID, serving alcohol after 2:30 a.m. and allowing patrons inside the bar with an under-21 ID.
In November 2017, pro-marijuana group Let Lansing Vote sued Swope in relation to a referendum attempt to overturn the 2017 Medical Marijuana Ordinance.
