Redshirt senior Branndais Agee, sophomore guard Taryn McCutcheon and redshirt sophomore guard Shay Colley all received All-Big Ten honorable mentions from coaches and media Monday afternoon. Junior center Jenna Allen received All-Big Ten honorable mentions from the media.

Agee was awarded All-Big Ten after being selected as an honorable mention the previous two seasons. The Detroit native is second on the team in scoring with 10.3 points per game, while leading the team in rebounding at 5.3. Agee became the 14th Spartan to pass the 1,200 total point mark and entered the top-15 all-time scoring list after she surpassed former Spartan Kristin Haynie.

McCutcheon was awarded All-Big Ten honorable mention for the second straight season. McCutcheon finished the season averaging 9.3 points per game to go along with 5.3 assists per game, which ranks No. 3 in the Big Ten. In a rival game against University of Michigan earlier this season, McCutcheon reached her 300 career-assist mark and became just the 15th Spartan that has reached this achievement.

Despite missing seven games because of a knee injury, Colley received all-league accolades for the first time in her career. Colley leads the team in scoring with 11 points per game, which includes scoring in double-digits 12 times during the season. Colley is tied for eighth in the Big Ten in assists per game at 4.3 and is tied for fourth in steals per game at two.

Allen is third on the team in scoring, dropping 10.3 points a game. Allen’s impressive 28-point performance against Notre Dame was the most scored by a Spartan the entire season.

Senior guard Lexi Gussert for the second-straight season received MSU’s Big Ten Sportsmanship honoree.
