Spring classes start Monday for Spartans

Classes for MSU students start up again Monday, marking the first day of the spring 2018 semester.

Students and faculty should expect to follow a normal Monday schedule on Jan. 8, attending the new classes they have scheduled for Mondays this semester.

Throughout the coming week, students and faculty should expect to attend their scheduled classes for the spring semester.

Jan. 15 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a national holiday. While the university will still be open, there will be no classes held that Monday.

Other important dates for spring semester include:

  • Feb. 28 – Middle of the semester
  • March 5-9 – Spring break
  • April 27 – Classes end
  • April 30-May 4 – Final exams
  • May 4-6 – Commencements
