A reported sexual assault occurred Jan. 15 in Holmes Hall, and is currently under investigation, according to MSU police Capt. Doug Monette.
The alleged assault occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m., and was reported the next night on Jan. 16.

The investigation has found there is no threat to MSU or East Lansing communities, Monette said.
“It’s an open and ongoing investigation, and we’re utilizing all of the appropriate police resources to investigate the incident,” Monette said.
