MSU players and Nebraska coach Tim Miles react after the third-ranked Spartans defeat the Cornhuskers 86-57 at the Breslin Center to kick off the 2017-18 Big Ten schedule. Sophomore forward Nick Ward scored a game-high 22 points for the Spartans and freshman forward Jaren Jackson Jr. recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
