Spartans stay put at No. 3 in newest AP top 25

After blowing out Nebraska Sunday and extending their winning streak to six games, third-ranked MSU stayed put at No. 3 Monday in the newest Associated Press men's basketball poll.

MSU was the highest-ranked Big Ten team, followed by Minnesota at No. 14 and Purdue at No. 21. The rest of the poll is as follows:

7. Texas A&M
8. Kentucky
9. Notre Dame
10. Miami (Fla.)

The Spartans' rank also went unchanged in the USA Today Coaches Poll that was released Monday. No. 3 MSU was the highest-ranked team in the conference in that poll, followed by No. 15 Minnesota and No. 21 Purdue.
