Following the Spartans' 30-27 win over Minnesota Saturday night, MSU (5-1) moved up three spots to No. 18 in the latest AP Top 25 poll.

The Spartans, who were ranked 21st last week, are now one spot ahead of Michigan, who is ranked 19th.

After a weekend filled with upsets, five Big Ten teams are ranked this week: Penn State (No. 2), Wisconsin (No. 5), Ohio State (No. 6), MSU and Michigan.

Also, MSU moved up three spots in the Amway Coaches Poll to No. 19.

After a two-game road stretch, the Spartans will head back home to take on Indiana Saturday.
