"She previously acknowledged letting her colleagues and company down with an impulsive tweet," a statement from ESPN reads. "In the aftermath, all employees were reminded of how individual tweets may reflect negatively on ESPN and that such actions would have consequences."

Hill faced criticism in September for referring to President Donald Trump as a white supremacist. Last night, Hill sent several tweets following the Dallas Cowboys team policy initiative banning protesting during the national anthem. 

 Hill later tweeted that she did not support an NFL boycott, but felt the directives put an "unfair burden" on players.
