East Lansing Police reported a shooting at the 1200 block of Stonegate Lane shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday night.
The alert, sent as part of ELPD’s Capital Alerts system, stated officers were on the scene and had a suspect in custody. There is no present danger to the public at this time, according to the alert.
ELPD Deputy Chief Steve Gonzalez said ELPD would be issuing a press release with further information regarding the incident.
