State wants to terminate Larry Nassar's parental rights | Lansing State Journal | June 16, 2017

The state of Michigan has moved to terminate Nassar's parental rights. The Michigan Department of Health and Human services filed a petition in Ingham County Circuit Court.

One of Nassar's attorneys said nothing in the petition or charges includes allegations that Nassar abused any of his children and said the petition "wasn't appropriate."

Stefanie Nassar, wife of Larry Nassar, was already granted sole legal and physical custody as part of divorce proceedings. Stefanie Nassar's attorney said he didn't think the state's petition was needed.
