National Police Week: What it means to MSUPD

May 14-May 20 was National Police Week — a week to commemorate the lives of officers who have died in the line of duty throughout the last year. The MSU Police Department celebrated National Police Week by profiling an officer each day and asking them what it means to wear the badge and serve the community. The State News was able to talk to officer Adam Atkinson to find out what serving means to him, his fellow officers, and his two K-9 units, Wolf and Cora.
