MSUPD is asking for help from the public to identify subjects as a part of two ongoing investigations, according to Facebook posts the department made Monday afternoon.

MSUPD public information officer Cpt. Doug Monette confirmed late Tuesday morning one investigation is connected to a larceny which took place in McDonel Hall. According to the Clery Crime and Fire Log, the theft occurred at approximately 7:52 p.m. on May 8. The incident was reported to police on May 10.

"It's an ongoing investigation and we're seeking help from the public," Monette said.

MSUPD is encouraging anyone with information to contact Detective James Terrill at 517-432-1596 or at terrillj@police.msu.edu. MSUPD is also encouraging the public to send tips anonymously through their mobile app and text messaging services.

Monette said the other incident was in connection to a burglary and unlawful entry into Yakeley Hall. According to the Clery Crime and Fire Log, the incident occurred at approximately 4:55 a.m. on May 5.

Anybody with information about the incident at Yakeley can contact Detective Chad Davis at 517-355-2226 or at DavisC@police.msu.edu. Tips for this investigation can also be sent anonymously through MSUPD's mobile app or text messaging services.
