MSU volleyball's Autumn Bailey is headed to the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Italy and Austria, visiting as part of the Big Ten Volleyball Foreign Tour Team, the conference announced May 10.

Bailey is a part of a 14-player squad comprised of one athlete from each of the schools in the Big Ten. University of Maryland's Steve Aird will serve as the head coach of the team.

Bailey, a Burlington, Ontario native, transferred to MSU after competing in her first two years at Marquette. Former Spartan Allyssah Fitterer and Bailey played on the same club team, Defensa, back in Canada.

The redshirt-junior missed a majority of the 2015 season after suffering a torn ACL. Last season, Bailey helped lead the Spartans to a No. 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament, where they ultimawtely fell to Arizona.

"I'm really excited to go on the Big Ten tour – it’s an opportunity for me to get to know and play with so many strong players from all of the Big Ten schools," Bailey said to MSU Athletic Communications. "It'll be great to get to know players in our conference and see the different playing styles from school to school."

The tour is scheduled from June 18-27, with the game schedule set to be announced at a later date.
